Netmarble has announced the first demo for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad as part of Steam Next Fest, offering a limited time to try the game early.

The demo is out now and playable until March 3rd, and the team says it will let players “experience a select section of the world of Westeros ahead of its global launch”. The Steam page has now launched as well, and the new trailer celebrating the demo is available below.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is also coming to iOS and Android devices, as well as PC via Steam (and the Windows Launcher). The team says details on the worldwide launch are coming soon.

Officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of HBO®, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad begins during season four of the Emmy Award-winning and Golden Globe-winning Game of Thrones series. Players will experience a brand-new story as they take on the role of a new character, who, through a quirk of fate, becomes the heir to House Tyre, a small noble house in the North. Tasked with securing their legacy, players will be able to select from one of three classes – Sellsword, Knight or Assassin – as they face legendary creatures and master unique combat styles in the world of Westeros.

Explore the seven kingdoms that make up Westeros in the vast open world of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. Discover vivid landscapes, massive cities, backwater towns, untamed wilderness, and the people that inhabit them.

Roam about iconic regions and locations. Take in everything from the splendor of King’s Landing to the frigid unease of Castle Black, located at the foot of the 700 feet tall Wall that stretches along the northern border of the Kingdom of the North, protecting the realm from horrors that lurk beyond.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is coming soon to PC, iOS, and Android devices.
