It has been announced today that Girls und Panzer is returning to World of Tanks with brand new content for players to enjoy. The hit anime is bringing with it new tanks, elite crews, and themed customisations. The event starts today and will run until April 3. Players will be able to command crews from St. Gloriana Girls’ College, all with the voice actors from the original Japanese cast.

Players will be able to activate dynamic team conversations during battle by assigning three voiced crew members from the prestigious schools to any British vehicle. There are also two new premium vehicles inspired by the Girls und Panzer anime for players to obtain: the Tier VII Premium Centurion St. Gloriana and the Tier VI Premium Churchill St. Gloriana

Three legendary teams from existing schools are being brought back into the fray, meaning the Oarai Girls’ High School, Kuromorimine Girls’ High School and Jatkosota High School are back on the battlefield. There are also some fan-favourite tanks returning such as the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H Ankou, BT-42 Jatkosota HS, and Tiger II Kuromorimine. There’s an expanded set of 2D customisation items to decorate tanks with, including emblems, inscriptions, and decals representing the schools and teams from the Girls und Panzer universe, making World of Tanks that bit more cooler.
The line-up will include a unique all-season St. Gloriana 2D Style, the adjustable Oarai style, and favourite Kuromorimine and Jatkosota High School 2D styles, as well as a collection of chibi-style and pin-up decals featuring the leaders of each academy. Players will also be able to compete in special missions for Girls und Panzer tokens that can be redeemed in the awesome Token Store for exclusive customisation items that include emblems, voiced commanders, and decals.
