Train Sim World 5 is bringing its brand of fun to the Netherlands, featuring the country’s first time being a part of the popular simulation game. The route add-on is bringing plenty of famous sites and trains, along with a first for the franchise in the form of passing cyclists. Not only that, there’s some other beautiful little details players will be able to witness when they get their hands on the DLC.

Jump in the cab of the ICMm and SNG Sprinter and drive through 107km of track, between the cities of Zwolle, in the province of Overijssel, and Groningen in the province of Groningen, the ‘capital of the North’
The Netherlands route DLC for Train Sim World 5 runs between the two cities of Zwolle and the ‘Capital of the North’ Groningen. The Nederlandse Spoorwegen trains travel through flat countryside and smaller towns over 107km of track. There’s a new safety system to learn in ATB, along with new signalling and new trains to drive, such as the soon-to-be-retired ICMm ‘Koploper’ and the more modern SNG Sprinter. They both offer unique driving experiences for the player. Furthermore, the Koploper has an elevated cockpit-style cab, complete with retro dials and panoramic view.
As mentioned earlier, cyclists will be visible on the Netherlands route in Train Sim 5. There’s also wildlife to see, including some Storks nesting on the unique overhead wires above the tracks. A brand new trailer has been released which shows off the DLC in all its glory. You can watch it below:
