Train Sim World 5 is getting its first Welsh Route courtesy of the Cardiff City Network, which is out now for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. There are already a range of English and Scottish routes, and now Wales is being represented.
This urban route with six end points covers the lines stemming from the capital city Cardiff’s two principal stations: Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street, with iconic landmarks such as the Principality Stadium and Millennium Centre creating the backdrop amongst the busy commuter action.
Along with the first Welsh Route coming to Train Sim World 5, the Class 153 DMU in Transport for Wales (Trafnidiaeth Cymru) livery is also included, along with an updated version of the Class 150 DMU previously seen in the West Cornwall Local add-on. The Welsh Route in Train Sim World 5 features bilingual station signage throughout, extending to stations at Radyr, Penarth, Coryton, and Cardiff Bay. To add to the fun, there are plenty of fun collectables to find such as Welsh Cakes, Love Spoons, and Leeks.
