As we previously reported, Nintendo Creator’s Voice is a new weekly video series focusing on a behind the scenes look at a game coming to Nintendo Switch 2.

After previously showcasing Hades, this episode it’s the turn of Hazelight Studios and it’s game, Split Fiction. The video is four minutes long and features Josef Fares (Founder & Creative Director) and Oskar Wolontis (Chief Operating Officer) talking about what keeps them playing a game. “That is pretty much how my passion for video games started”, explains Fares, before talking about the influence Nintendo has had upon the industry, and of course Hazelight’s Split Fiction.

The team talk about new features like Game Chat, which means anyone playing can communicate, as well as talking about how Game Share means you can get into the game quickly.

In our review of Split Fiction, Chris said: “While there’s an intricate tapestry of ideas, it’s never overly difficult. Sometimes it can get intense, especially as you’re playing split-screen. Some of the boss fights mean the visuals get busy, but the boss fights featured as some of my favourite moments. Split Fiction is a wonderful game that manages to take the roots of what Hazelight has built and continue the masterclass in gameplay that was seen in It Takes Two. If there are any doubts this might not reach the heights of the studio’s previous title, fear not. This is such a wonderful game with so many great worlds to explore.”

The series will be released every Tuesday at 2pm UK time, up until May 20th, all via the official Nintendo UK YouTube Channel. You can also find them here.

Nintendo says: “Tune in to Creator’s Voice for an inside look at what Nintendo’s development and publishing partners have in store and discover the secrets behind games and experiences coming to Nintendo Switch 2 following the console’s launch on June 5th.”
