Developer Glowmade has announced Rogue Fortune, a single player roguelite with “puzzle-powered” progression, and it’s coming in 2027.
Announced during the XBOX Gamescom broadcast, the trailer showing the title off can be seen below. Glowmade says: “Rogue Fortune combines relentless combat with a shape-based inventory and build system, layering strategic complexity and creative problem-solving over a foundation of pulse-pounding action.”

In Rogue Fortune, players cast themselves into the Well of Eternal Riches and find a cursed temple that instantly grants their wish for a lifetime of treasures … if only they can escape the accursed depths. Surviving the temple means facing untold enemies, deadly contraptions, and the burden of greed. Every attack or dodge comes with a cost, and players must choose between protecting their precious fortune or spending it to improve their chance of making it out alive.
Relic mastery is the key to survival in Rogue Fortune. As players battle through the temple, they collect Relics, geometrically shaped power-ups that turn a player’s Backpack into a puzzle. Relics interact with gear and each other to amplify effects and unleash devastating chain reactions. A Relic’s placement determines its interactions, so moving one can be the difference between a build bursting into life or crumbling apart.
“Rogue Fortune grew out of us considering how we could take the moment-to-moment thrill of a roguelite and blend it with this deep, strategic puzzle mechanic,” said Jonny Hopper, Glowmade co-founder and studio head. “The result is incredibly compelling. Players need to be inventive and think laterally in order to truly master the second-to-second combat and beat the Temple.”
Glowmade adds that: “Every run in Rogue Fortune means different Relics, a new problem to solve, and another chance to experiment and progress. Players earn gear and unlock new personas that can completely upend their playstyle, and the temple itself is constantly evolving, so no two runs will be the same”
Rogue Fortune is coming to PS5, XBOX, PC, and Switch 2 in 2027.
