Outright Games has released Sesame Street: Friends & Fun, and it’s the first “major” game to focus on the show in fifteen years.
Sesame Street: Friends & Fun is coming to PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch today. A new trailer has been released to show the title off, which you can see below:
Sesame Street: Friends & Fun invites children and their families to step into the iconic neighbourhood, meet its beloved residents and help prepare for the biggest celebration of the year: the Big Block Party. Players can create their own fully customisable character and become the guest of honour as they lend a hand with the festivities.
There’s plenty to discover across three colourful locations inspired by the world of Sesame Street. Explore the wider Sesame neighborhood , including the Community Garden, Bandstand and Farm, to the sunny Park and attraction-filled Fun Fair, each area is packed with activities, challenges and opportunities to spend time with some of Sesame Street’s most recognisable characters.
Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Tango, Grover, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert, The Count, Oscar the Grouch and Big Bird are all on hand to help along the way. Whether it’s cooking up a storm with Cookie Monster, helping Abby with her magic, caring for Tango or keeping a watchful eye on some mischievous chickens, there’s always something to get involved in as the neighbourhood gets ready for the big celebration.
There are more than “100 mini-games and activities” in the game, and Outright Games says it “brings together storytelling, exploration and learning in an accessible and engaging experience for young children.”
Sesame Street: Friends & Fun is available now on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
