Steel Hunters heading to Early Access

First their were tanks and warships...now there's mechs.
Steel Hunters Early Access

Steel Hunters enters Early Access in April. The team behind World of Tanks and World of Warships made the announcement on the official website, and it’s coming April 2. The free-to-play mech hero shooter blends Battle Royale and Extraction mechanics, and it won’t be long until players get the chance to dive right in and experience it for themselves.

After a cataclysmic event, Hunters were created by mankind to safeguard the collection of an extraterrestrial resource crucial to human survival, known as Starfall. Driven by ruthless factions, these fearsome mechanical giants have now become the key to dominate the scarce resource across the ruins of a green but abandoned Earth.

Steel Hunters offers an intense mech power fantasy where players control formidable mechanical giants—Hunters—and participate in action-packed battles, pursuing various objectives to level up and acquire gear. Each Hunter comes with its own distinct playstyle, unique ability kits, and progression systems that allow for a variety of strategies and tactics to outmatch opponents as they advance toward the final showdown at the extraction point.

Wargaming Group Limited said on the website “we want to build Steel Hunters with you. By starting in Early Access, we can refine and expand the game together, ensuring every shot fired and every Hunter unleashed is finely tuned. And don’t worry—this won’t be a drawn-out process. Our goal is to move quickly to a full release once your feedback has helped us polish the core experience. For all the details on how Early Access will unfold—and how you can shape the future of Steel Hunters—stay tuned!” Great news the developers want feedback from the fans. Let’s hope it gets a huge player base and does really well.

The roster for Steel Hunters in Early Access includes mechs such as Razorside, Heartbreaker, Fenris, Ursus, Trenchwalker, Prophet, and Weaver. Each mech has devastating abilities. Furthermore, there will be a range of dynamic battlegrounds such as Crimson Ridge, Maryland Heights, and Stonecutter Keep.

The trailer looks fantastic. Fans who love previous titles are surely going to enjoy this one. Keep checking Loot Level Chill for more updates going forward and have a great day.
