Solo developer Regal Pigeon Games and publisher The Arcade Crew today announced a brand-new Steam demo for Chivalware, the roguelite adventure that blends real-time, rapid grid-based combat and tile matching in a nonstop, dance-like battle.
Today’s new demo gives you access to three of Chivalware’s five playable characters, The Disk Knight, The Tank Knight and The Jester Knight. Additionally, over half of the game’s 80 floppy disk-based weapons will be available, alongside a huge portion of the 150+ available upgrades. Additionally, you’ll have access to two of the game’s four biomes and a brand-new challenge levels to test your prowess.
Take on the role of a Disk Knight in a cyber meets medieval world filled with quirky citizens. The kingdom calls on you to slay its King, driven mad by power and years of isolation. But as you carve your way toward the castle, strange glitches suggest something deeper is at play…
Cleverly match tiles on the battlefield in sets of three, earning and equipping new weapons to obliterate your opposition – all while weaving between real-time attacks in a grid-based battlefield. The Chivalware demo is available now, with the game set to release on Steam in 2026.
