Developer Stunlock Studios has announced a free weekend for the excellent vampire simulator V Rising on Steam this weekend, starting on May 14th.
You may note, there, that May 14th is actually a Thursday, so it’s an extra long weekend of free play, running until Monday May 18th at 10am Pacific Time, which is 6pm UK time.

The press release says:
Join over 6 million vampires in the night. Hunt for blood, build a gothic castle worthy of your legend, and bask in the moonlight like the creature you were always meant to be. Whether you’re fresh from the grave or a seasoned night stalker, there’s never been a better time to rise.
If the darkness proves irresistible, V Rising will be available at a 55% discount during the event, with all DLC also offered at 20% off, making it the ideal time to continue your journey beyond the Free Weekend.
