Disruptive Games has announced “Wreck Runners”, a co-op game coming from a team that includes ex-Insomniac Games and LucasArts team members.
The developer says the veterans who are working on Wreck Runners now include Eric Ellis and Grant Rogers, with experience from working on titles like Diablo II, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.
The team describes Wreck Runners as: “a multiplayer extraction looter, set in the exotic (yet eerie) Bermuda Triangle, as you’ll have to battle strange creatures, physics and The Fog to make it out with valuable salvage.” It will have a Steam Next Fest demo, but otherwise this one is coming to PC, XBOX, and PS5 on July 16th.

Wreck Runners is an up to 4 player online co-op extraction game set in a haunted and ever-changing Bermuda Triangle. Hired by the suspiciously cheerful Trustwell Corporation, your crew of runners is sent in to recover valuable salvage. We expect you may find far more than sunken wrecks waiting in the Fog.
