SEGA Europe Limited and The Creative Assembly Limited have revealed that Total War: Warhammer III – Lords Of The End Times will release on 24 September.
The largest DLC in the series’ 10-year history, this pack unleashes four new Legendary Lords inspired by the apocalyptic End Times into the vast Immortal Empires campaign, bringing with them a host of new battlefield units and lore inspired features alongside a game changing free update.
Four Mighty Legendary Lords
Each new Legendary Lord represents a brand-new strategic gameplay experience inspired by Warhammer lore. They include Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead, seeking to drain the world of life and ascend to godhood; Boris Todbringer, Elector Count of Middenland, fighting to rekindle the flame of Ulric in defence of the Empire; the Glottkin, spreading Nurgle’s repulsive gardens across the land; and Thanquol, orchestrating diabolical schemes through his cunning master plans.
A Vast Arsenal of Deadly New Units
Charging into combat alongside each of the Legendary Lords are some of the series’ most spectacular battlefield characters and units to date, such as the Khemric Titan, a colossal, magically animated carab-like construct; The Verminlords, powerful daemonic manifestations of the Great Horned Rat; Putrid Blight Kings, a rotting elite brotherhood infested with daemonflies; The Celestial Hurricanum, a magical war altar powerfully infused with the eight winds of magic.
A Cataclysmic New Entry Point
In a first for the series, purchasing Lords of the End Times content – either as a bundle or individually – grants access to the colossal Immortal Empires campaign with no need to own any Total War: Warhammer game, making it a great entry point for new players.
Free Legendary Lords & Game Update
Lords of the End Times also heralds the arrival of one of the biggest ever free game updates for the series to date. Crowning this content is none other than the Vampire Queen, Neferata, as a Legendary Lord, alongside a full rework for the Vampire Counts and Archaon The Everchosen, all-new End Game Scenarios, updated Victory Conditions for every legacy Legendary Lord and much more.
