Fortnite Star Wars has been filled with new quests to complete. You want that sexy Chancellor Palpatine skin, then star completing the story quests. XP is in abundance this season. Unlike previous seasons, the current story quests in Fortnite Star Wars need to found on the map.
Outlined by blue circles, you need to locate the quest givers and icons by exploring these areas. Do not fear, though. We’ve put together what quests are available so far. When more get added, we’ll include them, but right now, here are the current story quests available in Fortnite Star Wars and how to complete them.
Retrieve Stormtrooper Data Logs
These logs are located at Vader’s Samurai Solitude. Once you get there, they’ll appear as icons while exploring each of the buildings. There are four in total, and by interacting with each one, you’ll be able to retrieve them. It doesn’t take to long providing stormtroopers or fellow players don’t decide to kill you.
Retrieve Rebel Data Logs
This one is a bit trickier than finding the Stormtrooper data logs as they are scattered throughout the map. There’s a good chance you’ll retrieve them simply by spending time playing them, however, if you want to know where they are right now, here are their locations:
- Bird restaurant to the west – head north of Shiny Shafts until you find the Bird Restaurant. It’s about halfway between Bird and the Resistance Base in the northwest map.
- Resistance Base – while you’re heading that way anyway, there’s another in the Resistance Base.
- Broken TIE Fighter northwest of Brutal Boxcars – when you find the broken TIE Fighter, a Rebel data log is found right there on one of the computer terminals.
- South of Flooded Frogs – at a three-way intersection among some crates, another Rebel data log can be found. Follow the main roads and you should find it.
Deliver a Jedi Padawan Lightsaber to General Grievous
The coughing cyborg of the Separatist Army can be found northwest of the poppy fields between Masked Meadows and Seaport City. Interact with him first, then go and find the lightsaber. These can be acquired from blue Training Rift Gates or by killing a fellow player who may have one in their inventory. As long as you have one in your inventory, you’ll be able to revisit Grievous and hand it over to complete the story quest in Fortnite Star Wars.
Blow up objects with an X-Wing
After interacting with Poe Dameron at the Resistance Base, he’ll give you the quest. There are various X-Wing locations throughout the map, and once you get one, simply blow up 25 objects. If the story quest isn’t completed in a game, it will reset, meaning you have to go and accept it once again in the next game. Landing at the Resistance Base straight off the bus will often mean a heavily populated interaction with Poe. Land close by then travel towards it to avoid a gunfight from the get go.
Repair a damaged TIE Fighter
This one is another quick story quest to complete. It is located in the same place one of the Rebel data logs is, northwest of Brutal Boxcars. You have to interact with three large containers surrounding the broken TIE Fighter in the middle. Once completed, not only will you have finished the quest, you’ll also be able to pilot the newly repaired TIE Fighter.
Story Quests: Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Luke Skywalker
It’s worth noting that the locations of the characters are next to the map tab in the menu. They’ll be the three characters you likely won’t have met yet (other than General Grievous, Poe Dameron, Shadow Blade Hope, Vengeance Jones, and Wookie Team Leader).
Han Solo quests
The scruffy-looking nerfherder can be found at the cantina in the Outpost Enclave. Complete with the iconic music, he’s found wandering around and not sat in a corner talking to Greedo. He’ll instruct you to do a couple of things before his questline is complete:
- Damage structures beyond 22 metres away – you can head outside the cantina and hit crates, attack buildings, or do any kind of damage to a structure, as long as you’re firing at a distance.
- Eliminate 5 Stormtroopers – head to the First Order Base or Vader’s Samurai Solitude, or visit one of the First Order bases found on the map. When you track the quest, the locations all appear on your map.
- Return to Han Solo – once you’ve returned to Han Solo, the quest will all be over.
Princess Leia quests
For those who’ve been playing all week, you’ve likely encountered the secret canon on top of the fallen AT-AT. After meeting Princess Leia is south of Magic Mosses. She’ll instruct you to head to the canon and interact with the wires sticking out the back of its head. It’s location is in the second snowy section southwest of the First Order Base. Once you’ve set it off, head inside the secret base and the second part of the quest will be completed. Next, head out of the cave and turn left to find an Imperial Console that needs to be interacted with. After completing the third part of the quest, head back to Leia and talk to her. Nice work, Padawan!
Luke Skywalker quests
This one is nice and easy. Once you’ve found him north of Shiny Shafts at a Resistance Base, talk to him. He’ll give you a mission to take part in some training. While it’s simple, the risk of being attacked by fellow players is high. All you need to do is run through ten rings. Each one spawns after the last one has been passed through. Once you’ve gone through the tenth one, return to Luke to complete the task, and the mission.
New Story Quest: Jar Jar Binks
Jar Jar Binks is pretty much in the middle of Foxy Floodgate and Brutal Boxcars. You’ll find him along the river in a fishing hut. Just check out the characters tab in the menu and pin the location that appears there. He’ll get you to complete three separate quests along the way.
- Collect Fish – all you need to do is collect one fish. There are fishing rods near the entrance, so these can be used for the quest. Once you’ve found one, head to a Republic Outpost (will be visible on the map if you’ve tagged the quest). After arriving, throw the fish inside the location. This will unlock the penultimate stage where you have to spray three times inside a Republic Outpost. You can do this straight after throwing the fish. Once completed, head back to Jar Jar Binks and talk to him to hand in the quest.
