Kepler Interactive has released three new demos from its upcoming list of titles, including Bionic Bay, and Neon Abyss 2.
The publisher says: “Download new playable slices of the gorgeous upcoming puzzle platformer Bionic Bay, indulge in the chaotic action roguelike follow up to the smash hit Neon Abyss 2, witness the first-ever robo-sheep in STAND-ALONE and register for its new playtest now”
Here’s the blurbs and trailers for each of the three demos released.
Bionic Bay
Bionic Bay is packed with clever, physics-based platforming and meticulously hand-crafted levels, and introduces players to core mechanics like The Swap, ChronoLag and Gravity Shift to creatively manipulate the environment and overcome hazards at every turn. In this first look at the online mode for Bionic Bay, players can customize their own scientist and race against ghosts of competitors from around the world in time-based challenges.
The new demo available on Steam also includes the first two levels of the final game, introducing players to the fundamentals of The Swap and movement—essential skills for the online mode, which unlocks upon completion. Progress from the Steam demo carries over to the full game too. Bionic Bay launches on April 17 for PlayStation 5 and Steam.
Neon Abyss 2
Get first hands-on with Neon Abyss 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning roguelike Neon Abyss, from Veewo Games. The single player playtest runs for one week starting March 20. To take part, players should head to the official Steam page and sign up. Delve deeper into this pixelated cybermyth take on the popular roguelike genre and take control of Nik as you blast through five intense levels culminating in a final boss battle with Hacker in today’s single player playtest.
Neon Abyss 2 completely overhauls the original game with more freedom for you to shape your playstyle: bigger and better in every way, including more firearms as players can wield magical artifacts, axes, swords and even brass knuckles to take down enemies. The playtest marks the reveal of the brand-new Faith system and will be playable until March 27. Let your imagination run wild when Neon Abyss 2 launches into Early Access on Steam this year.
