Biscuit Factory Games (a team made up of veterans from Fortnite and Fall Guys) has announced a demo for citybuilder Papaya Plaza is out now on Steam.
Described as a “relaxing and fruity” snack, the demo is out now, offering a slice of the action.
Check out the new demo trailer, below:
Become the Mayor of Papaya Plaza and transform the run-down tourist town into a vibrant destination spot and home for your villagers! Transform it from drab and dreary to warm and welcoming, improving your Town Rank as you work towards the illustrious 5-Star status!
Improving your new home will be a laidback and low-stress affair, and the design is totally up to you. With hundreds of options to choose from and art from Art Director Stef Bollen – better known as StefScribbles by her 280k+ combined social following – you’ll be able to create your very own pixel art paradise.
Papaya Plaza encourages you to play your way, by lending a helping hand to villagers and opening up new stores to earn a little extra money (which you can then spend on making your town even better!) As Mayor, the uniquely designed villagers will come to you with their problems and ideas for the town and there are lovely rewards if you choose to help out.
Here’s the key features of Papaya Plaza:
- Laidback Lychee: Low-stress and low stakes, the problem-solving and city-building gameplay is the perfect way to relax after a long day.
- Pixel Art Pineapple: The game’s living world is beautifully crafted in pixel art style, making it a joy to look at and be in.
- Five-Star Fig: Build your village and increase your Town Rank along the way. Improve enough and you’ll become a 5-Star town; what an achievement!
Papaya Plaza is coming to PC via Steam.
