Konami is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its football series in style, as footballing legend Pele makes his long-awaited debut in eFootball. Along with the Brazilian icon’s debut, there’s also a ton of bonuses for players that login during the celebrations and so much more. ‘Epic: Pele’ features a 30th anniversary commemorative design and makes Pele the first player in the series to have two unique skills: Phenomenal Finish and Phenomenal Pass. Players can now include Pele in their Dream Team alongside other geniuses of the game such as Johan Cruyff and Ferenc Puskas.
Here’s what players can look forward to as Pele enters eFootball:

To coincide with the 30th anniversary, the first eFootball World Festival will be taking place at Belle Salle Shibuya Garden in Tokyo, Japan on July 21. It’s a free fan event that will feature hands-on gameplay, as well as exclusive giveaways and competitive action.
Some of the highlights for the festival include:
- eFootball™ Series 30th Anniversary Special Event – A live stage program unveiling new content, features, and licensing announcements.
- eFootball™ Championship 2025 World Finals – the global esports showdown where top players, including Italy’s Ettorito97 (AC Milan) and Georgia’s N_Apriamashvili (FC Internazionale Milano), will compete for the world title.
Both of these events are going to be livestreamed across the world in nine languages. eFootball and PES has been a staple of video game football since 1995. It’s going to be one big celebration, so don’t miss out!
