Publisher Rainy Frog along with developer Rainy Night Creations has announced that stealth action game Spy Drops is coming to Switch and Steam on July 31st.
The team describes Spy Drops as “a modern retro stealth action game to Steam and Nintendo Switch this July 31st! Step into the shadows as a member of an elite counter-terrorist spy team and take down a ruthless eco-terrorist organisation determined to plunge the world into darkness.”

Sneak behind enemy lines and complete your covert operation of gathering intel, installing spy devices, and rescuing prisoners. Only you can save the world from slipping into the dark ages! Infiltrate enemy bases and outsmart enemies as you navigate hostile territory. But be careful, one wrong move, and your mission’s blown. So stay quiet, stay sharp, and definitely don’t let them hear your footsteps…
As you progress through the randomized missions, you’ll have a choice of arsenal with secondary equipment like drones, hacking devices, explosives, night vision goggles, and more to help you bring your enemies down.
Dodge, hack, or shoot cameras to keep your presence unknown. Scout areas with your trusted equipment and use the Dream Catcher to infiltrate the minds of soldiers and discover the locations of the next targets.
It sounds like story will be a focus, too, with the team adding: “As your mission unfolds, so does the truth behind it. What was believed to be a world-saving op in stopping a global threat quickly spirals into something far more sinister. Who can you trust when the people giving you the orders are hiding behind the biggest lie and conspiracy?”
