Following the recent reveal of Quality and Balanced mode across all platforms, Rebel Wolves have now announced that a Performance mode will be available via a day one update for some console versions of The Blood of Dawnwalker.
The original breakdown of the Quality and Balanced mode showed the game running at 30fps and 40fps respectively across PS5, PS5 Pro and XBOX Series X. No details were given about the XBOX Series S and eyebrows were raised at the lack of a 60fps mode.
This latest update, accompanied by a video, announced that a 60fps mode will be available via a day one patch and the performance you can expect across each console. Across XBOX Series X, PS5 and PS5 Pro the game will target 30fps in Quality, 40fps in Balanced and 60fps in Performance. The PS5 Pro will also provide additional (unspecified) visual enhancements. XBOX Series S will just target 30fps.

The Blood of Dawnwalker will receive a Performance Mode targeting 60 FPS on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X on Day 1 through the launch patch.
On Friday, we answered your questions about console performance with what we knew we could confidently deliver at launch.
Performance Mode was already in the works, but it was still being tested. We simply weren’t ready to promise it yet.
We heard your feedback. It was clear how much this mattered to many of you, so we focused on finishing the next round of tests. Those results gave us the confidence we needed to confirm Performance Mode for Day 1.
