Outright Games and Dr. Seuss Enterprises have together released a new gameplay video for The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas, which is coming in September.
Now I appreciate it might be “too soon” for some of you, but the supermarkets already have some stuff out (I saw “Puds” the other day), so there you go, it’s almost time. Phew.
“The gameplay trailer takes players on a tour of the game’s four distinct worlds, spread across 23 action-packed levels designed to be accessible and fun for younger players. From the icy slopes of Mt. Crumpit and springy mushroom-filled Who Wood, to the cascading waterfalls of the Grinch’s Cave and the snow-dusted streets of Who-ville, each environment offers unique platforming challenges and festive secrets to uncover.
The trailer also highlights the Grinch’s collection of inventive gadgets, each designed to help players overcome obstacles and uncover hidden secrets. Speed through levels on the Rocket Skates, soar over hazards with a Jetpack, and freeze troublesome adversaries with the Snowball Maker. Paired with the Grinch’s trusty candy cane, these quirky contraptions add plenty of mischievous fun to every stage of the adventure.”
Robin Flodin, CEO of Outright Games Group, said, “We’re so excited to finally give fans a proper look at what we’ve been building with The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas! From exploring the iconic locations fans know and love from Dr. Seuss’s original story, to experimenting with inventive gadgets and teaming up with a friend, The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas is shaping up to be the perfect festive adventure for kids and families to enjoy together this September and into the Christmas season!”
