Wargaming has announced that World of Warships: Legends is heading to Steam, and you can try it early via a closed beta test this month.
The console and mobile version of World of Warships: Legends has been going since 2019, and this Steam PC version will include over 500 warships and 100 commanders at launch. The closed beta will be running from May 23rd to May 26th, and sign-ups are available now on the official Steam page.
The developer says: “During this period, participants will be able to test the Versus AI, Arcade, and Standard battle types, with ship Tech Trees, Commanders, divisions, campaigns, and missions also available. Other major features, such as additional battle types, Bureau Projects, Fleets, crossplay, and more, will be introduced later in the full version.”
Wargaming adds: “Players are invited to share feedback on controls, performance improvements, and any potential issues that may arise during the closed beta period, to ensure Steam players get a smooth and polished experience when World of Warships: Legends launches. Plans are also underway to ensure the game is supported on Steam Deck, allowing aspiring captains to take their battles on the go.”
