The first four Superstars have arrived in WWE 2K25 as part of the New Wave Pack DLC, and fans are going to be in for a blast as Motor City Machine Guns, Guilia, and Stephanie Vaquer are now playable. It is the first of five DLC character packs to release, and what a line-up.
The Motor City Machine Guns have made one hell of an impact since debuting. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are veterans of the sport, but now they’re able to shine on the grandest stage of them all. They’ve already become Tag Team Champions, and another reign will likely come. Stephanie Vaquer is mesmerising to watch. She is the current NXT Women’s Champion and former NXT Women’s North American Champion. Finally, Guilia was an instant hit in WWE, winning the 2024 Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge after a few months following her debut on NXT. She’s been the NXT Women’s Champion, and only last night debuted on RAW in the main event.
The New Wave Pack DLC brings MyFACTION cards for all of the new Superstars, and 40 moves and taunts to be used in WWE 2K25. It can be purchased individually, as well as part of the Season Pass. 2K has also announced the DLC brings with it an entitlement for a special celebrity guest character that will soon be revealed. Are we going to get iShowSpeed just so he can get speared once again by Bron Breakker? Maybe Kai Cenat or Jelly Roll? There are a lot of celebrities who are fans of WWE, so it will be interesting to know what 2K has planned.
As well as the New Wave Pack DLC coming out today, so is new MyFACTION content, including the debut of the Demastered card series in WWE 2K25. The Urn foreign object will be available to anyone who purchased the Deadman Edition Bonus Pack, Deadman Edition, or The Bloodline Edition.
The second chapter of The Island will be coming soon to WWE 2K25, with 11 new quests. There will also be 44 new matches, new unlockable content, and new branded gear. The Island storyline will be continuing into Chapter 2 as well.
