Silver Lining Interactive and Painted Black Games have announced their partnership on The Road of Dust and Sorrow, an upcoming survival thriller game.
About the game:
In The Road of Dust and Sorrow, a cure created to end famine becomes humanity’s ruin. The failed experiment twists people into feral creatures known as Dusters, driven by a relentless and primal hunger.
Ten years later, Katherine and her daughter Ava roam the broken remains of civilization in search of a safer future. Their presence draws the attention of a mysterious preacher and his cult followers, but the true threat is an ancient hunger that sees humans as fertile soil.
Claw your way through decaying streets, bloodthirsty Dusters, locked rooms, and forgotten corridors, where every door could mean salvation… or your end. Keep Ava alive, no matter what.
As a fan of games that are either incredibly cosy or endlessly grim, The Road of Dust and Sorrow is definitely piquing my interest, and the gorgeous visuals are definitely helping.
