Ghost of Yōtei limited edition consoles have been revealed this evening as part of the State of Play focusing on the game.
Featuring a depiction of the iconic Mt. Yōtei, the consoles come in two distinct variations:
The gold variant is inspired by the Japanese art form known as kintsugi, which symbolises beauty in imperfection and here mirrors Atsu’s own journey of healing.
The black variant instead draws inspiration from Sumi-e, which uses blank ink and bold brush strokes.
Both consoles look fantastic, and would make for striking additions to any living room. They’ll definitely get guests talking more than a bog standard white PS5 would. For those that don’t need an entirely new console, you also have the option of just buying covers to give your current console a Ghost of Yōtei makeover.
Both variants also feature a special maker’s seal engraved with PlayStation shapes on the back of the console’s top cover as well as on the DualSense Wireless controllers.
Speaking of controllers, both consoles come with matching Dualsense controllers that include a striking silhouette of Atsu on the touchpad.

Consoles are available to order from 2 October. More information can be found on the PlayStation blog.
