The Drafting Studio is a rare room in Blue Prince, where you will come across a Safe that you’ll be keen to unlock. By this point in your adventure, you’re likely curious as to what’s inside, and you’d be right to be so. Unlocking safes allows you to piece together more of the puzzles and history that surround Mount Holly and the Sinclair family. Here at Loot Level Chill, we’ve spent hours on Blue Prince, and have unlocked all the safes in the game. As such we know a thing or two about how they operate. Read on to discover how you unlock the Drafting Studio Safe in Blue Prince.

Where is the safe?
The Drafting Studio Safe is hidden in quite a unique way, and you won’t be able to interact with it, unless you have a specific item handy. If you look on the table on the other side of the doorway to where you can choose a new room to draft, you will see a miniature room made from white paper. When you look at it, you, you are told you are looking at:

For this, we need a Magnifying Glass. Using this item on the paper safe actually allows us to interact with the safe as though it were bigger.
What clues are there?
The clue you want to look to for the four-digit date code is the Calendar on the wall next to the drafting desk. On it, you can clearly see it is showcasing the month of November. Then above that a picture of some apple trees, paths and gates, and various other surroundings. What could we use for a date?
What is the code for the Drafting Studio Safe in Blue Prince?
Well if you have figured out what is the deal with all the pictures in each room (for more details click here), you would have a big clue what to count here. We need to count the number of gates. Some are quite small, but there are eight of them in total. So now we have the month (November) and the day (8) to give us the 8th of November. Written as a four-digit code, this could either be 0811 or 1108. Now, annoyingly, not all the safes in Blue Prince stick to the same date rules (MM/DD or DD/MM), but at least we can whittle it down to two options. In this instance, the correct code for the Drafting Studio Safe is:

What is in the Safe?
As with all the safes in Blue Prince, we receive a Red Letter, this one has a number 5 on it and is a letter from Mary writing to Herbert about escaping. There is no Gem inside this safe, due to its small size.
