Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 | How to remove map markers

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 map markers guide

Perhaps one of the most frustrating things about Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the amount of map markers that appear at the top of your screen. You can end up with plenty of quests at any one time, and removing them is important not only for your focus but also your sanity. It doesn’t clearly tell you how to do this, so we decided to put together a simple guide that will help you remove map markers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in no time at all.

Decide where your focus lies

With so many things to do and plenty of quest lines to follow, you might not know what to start doing when you first dive in. The honest answer is do what you like, but I would suggest focusing on one quest at a time. This will help declutter your ap bar at the top of your HUD and show you clearly where you need to do.

Open your map

In order for you to remove map markers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll need to open your map. The quickest way to do so is by pressing up on the D-pad. With your map now in full view, tap right on the left stick so your quests via the journal become visible on the same screen. From here, you can scroll down the list of main quests, side quests, and tasks. Once you know which ones you want to do, make sure they have a colour highlighting the coat of arms to the lest of the quest title.

As for the rest of the ones you don’t want to track at that time, highlight it and press Square/B. This will then remove the colour from that quest. When you go back to the game and check that map gauge at the top of the screen, you’ll now only see the quest you selected from the journal.
