When you first get the chance to explore the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you have very little to your name, so finding armour quickly is going to be a priority. You may wish to look around and visit various locations and try to find it without following any quests, but your first opportunity to get some decent armour comes when heading to the blacksmith in Tachov. It’s a bit of a journey early on, but well worth doing the moment you’re able. We’ve put together a short guide on how to find armour quickly in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Head to the blacksmith
After the opening section where something rather unfortunate happens to you and Lord Capon (no spoilers!), you end up in Troskowitz and are given the option to go to two separate locations. The one you want to go to first is the blacksmith in Tachov because you get some much needed help. You’ll need to run there because you don’t have a horse at first (unless you rob one). Once you talk to him, he’ll offer you a spare room just behind the forge and next to his own bedroom and small abode.
Open the chest
Once you head inside the box room and notice you’ve got a bed for you to be able to get some much needed rest, you’ll see a chest which holds some wonderful items for you. Firstly, you’ll find a selection of shields you can take and use for yourself, along with a decent set of armour that makes you feel much more safer in than those bloodied and dirty makeshift clothes you’re currently wearing. For a starting point, this gear will help you for a considerable amount of time, and from there you can build up your gear with this armour until considerably later on.
