Like most of the series, Monster Hunter Wilds has its share of secrets, several of which are tied to trophies. One of the most difficult to finish is Explorer of the Eastlands, which tasks you with finding “10 different special items of Rarity 6”. Problem is, it doesn’t tell you where these items are – or even what they are. Well, we’ve found them, and we’re here to help. Read on for our Monster Hunter Wilds Explorer of the Eastlands guide.
Monster Hunter Wilds Explorer of the Eastlands Guide
How do I find Rarity 6 special items?
The easiest way to do this is to check your map every new day for the emergence of certain resources. You can also rest and change the time of day to cause these emergences to pop, but it’s not guaranteed. You also can’t cheese these by inviting friends in to your Environment Link. We tested it, and they are player-specific, not environment-specific.
Even without emergences, you can still get lucky though. If you use the icon in the bottom corner of the locale map, you can set it to show all resource nodes and points of interest by selecting the white herb symbol. Now you can look for the items listed below to find the associated special Rarity 6 item. We’ve actually found 11 items, as when we popped the trophy we didn’t have number 7 on this list. We have also included the times of day that we found them, but these are not necessarily the only times that they spawn.

This one is arguably the hardest. You’ll need to kill a monster, large or small, and then wait until the corpse is “rotten”. Carving now has a small chance to yield a Wyvernsprout.
So there you go, that should help you find all these items and clear the Monster Hunter Wilds Explorer of the Eastlands trophy.
