Naoe ends up becoming an incredibly gifted assassin. Through new skills and abilities, enemies are killed in silence with speed and efficiency. One skill that is integral in Assassin’s Creed Shadows allows Naoe to perform double assassinations. It’s not a skill available when you start, but it can quickly be learnt. We’ve put together a little guide that shows you how to unlock double assassinations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Build up Mastery Points
In the early stages, it’s not difficult to earn Mastery Points. These are used to unlock new skills and abilities, and can be earned by completing main and side missions, activities, killing, and more. Once you have three of these Mastery Points, it’s time to get that all important skill.
Head to Assassin Mastery
There are six skill trees in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and the one required for double assassinations is ‘Assassin.’ It is on the second line up from the bottom with two skulls on it. The ‘Double Assassinate’ skill will cost three Mastery Points and doesn’t need any previous skills to be unlocked first. Once unlocked, you’re now able to use double assassinations as long as you have a Tanto. This weapon is a small blade that acts as the secondary weapon when killing off the other enemy.
Logically, two kills can’t be completed if enemies aren’t stood near each other. Scan surroundings and make sure two enemies are close. If not, some of them follow movement patterns where two enemies end up walking close. Pick your moment to strike, assassinate them both, then slide back into the shadows without anyone noticing.
