Pipistrello goes on quite the mission. There are various buildings and areas to explore and find, and one such place is the Police Department. It’s not the hardest area to find, and after fighting various enemies and making your way around the map, you’ll arrive there. We’ve put together a handy guide that tells you how to get to the Police Department in Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo. Just be ready to fight your way through a bunch of tricky enemies.
Head west from the South Plaza
There are two paths from the South Plaza to Old Rattalia Town to the west of the map. This is where the Police Department is located, but it’s not easy for Pipistrello. The quickest way is to traverse across a lot of water, enemies, and a stream of cars (X-4, Y+2). Then follow the street north and take the first left (at co-ordinates X-7, Y+0) until you reach two snorkel monkeys (official name…maybe).
Fight your way through the elongated pier
Once you head south after defeating the snorkel monkeys (X-8, Y+0), just follow the map all the way round, fighting off the various enemies along the way. You’ll encounter some tough opponents that through sticks at the ground to try and block the path. They also have shells that are tough to crack at first, but hitting them from the right angle should do it. Once you’ve made your way through, you should be back on the streets (X-11, Y-1). The Police Department should be right in front of you, and Pipistrello will be right where he needs to be.
It’s worth mentioning that you really might want to help the prisoner in there, as he provides something pretty cool (that makes the next stage of your journey a LOT easier). It takes a short time to help him out, but it is worth it. He’ll also appear later in the game if you do save him. It’s just one of the many cool features of Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo.
