Assassin’s Creed Shadows | How to add scouts

If you need an extra pair of eyes or two, we have you covered.
Assassins Creed Add Scouts

Scouts are an important part of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. They can be used for a multitude of things such as revealing quest locations on the map and bringing in valuable items to your hideout. While Naoe only starts off with a few at first, they can be increased in a number of ways. We’ve put together a handy guide which shows you how to add scouts to your network in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Find them on your travels

As you travel across Japan, there are many people in need. Some are being targeted by enemy soldiers while others may require your help for something else. While many offer clues as to where certain points of interest are, scouts can also be recruited by talking to various individuals around town. It’s not these easiest way to add scouts in Assassin’s Creed Shadows as they’re few and far between, but it’s always worth interacting with people and helping those in need.

Upgrade your Study

Back at the hideout, a building can be unlocked called the study. This is a building that once upgraded every time, a new Scout is added to your network. The more scouts available, the more help is gained. Depending on how you play, scouts might not be the most important thing to you, but they definitely help when it comes to bringing back resources from out in the world.

While not technically adding new scouts to your network, the changing in seasons refreshes your amount. They can also be refilled at Kakuregas for a cost.
