The further you get in Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, the harder it gets. Thankfully, equipping badges provide addition buffs to help along the way. At first, space is limited. Thankfully, there are different ways to increase badge space in Pipistrello. We’ve put together a handy guide that explains how you can increase badge space and give Pipistrello a helping hand when taking on enemies on his quest to recover the four mega batteries.
Collect BP Shards
Like the Petal/Heart Containers, BO Shards are often scattered around the world. You may have to take out a bunch of enemies to be able to collect them. Alternatively, there may be a puzzle that needs solving in order to collect it. They look like Petal/Heart Containers except they’re green, so keep an eye out for them. They will flash green on the map, and by collecting two at a time, a new space will open up in your badge counter.
Pepita’s Upgrades
By taking on contracts with Pepita, you’ll eventually be able to acquire some fantastic upgrades. There are a few of these that increase your badge space, meaning Pipistrello will be more equipped to take on tougher enemies. The upgrades that allow for extra space are:
- Bat Backpack – costs $350 and Roses won’t drop from enemies. You will need to unlock the first upgrade before getting to it. It offers +1 badge space.
- Bat Pocket – costs $1,200 and you’ll lose 1 attack power until the contract is complete. You will also need to unlock ‘Jumbo Breakfast’ and ‘Focus Ring’ before you get to this upgrade. It offers +2 to badge space.
- Bat Suitcase – costs $1,200, your life will be at -1 and Roses don’t spawn from enemies. You will have needed to unlock ‘Bat Suitcase’ and ‘Preventive Strike’ before getting this upgrade. It offers +2 to badge space.
- Bat Bag – costs £1,850 and attack power suffers from -4. You will also have needed to unlocked five other upgrades from branching paths of the upgrade tree. It can be seen in the second to last upgrade line (second from bottom). It offers +3 badge space.
