The closest thing Revenge of the Savage Planet has to a critical path is the Interstellar Enigma questline, a multi-part quest that presents a series of five challenge shrines located throughout the solar system. Each will require a different set of skills to overcome, and will reward you with a piece of the Pentaforce, a special galactic key that opens a mysterious, coveted location hidden within the stars.
To find out how to acquire the Interstellar Enigma questline, check out part one of this guide series where we show you how to complete the Shrine of Time on Stellaris Prime. Read on to find out how to complete part two of the Interstellar Enigma quest, the Shrine of Grind, in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
CHALLENGE: Balancing Act
LOCATION: Shrine of Grind, Xephyr
HOW TO ACCESS THE SHRINE: You’ll see the location of Scrappi’s teleporter on the map shown above, which you can reach using the grapple and double jump, or activating the proton rail from the ledge below. You’ll see a cave blocked by magnetic metal, which you need to break using the Magnet Fork and the lump of metal nearby. Break it, and head into the teleporter.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE: As with the Shrine of Time, the Shrine of Grind presents three rooms in which you’ll need to shoot a sequence of purple targets while grinding proton rails. It’s a fairly easy challenge once you’ve located each target, so take your time as there’s no timer to rush you. Once you locate all the targets in each room it’s a simple case of grinding the rails and shooting as you do.
And now you know all there is to know about locating and completing the Balancing Act challenge in the Shrine of Grind, the second part of the Interstellar Enigma quest in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
