Galaxies Showcase lineup revealed to include NACON, Team17, and more

A whole universe of games.

The full games line-up for the upcoming Galaxies Showcase has been revealed, and there’s some big hitters being shown off including MOUSE: P.I. For Hire.

Aside that one (which looks utterly intriguing, thanks to the lovely art style and shooter gameplay), we’ll also get to hear more about titles from NACON, Saber Interactive/3D Realms, and Team17. There will also be Twitch drops from publisher Behaviour Interactive, the publisher of Dead by Daylight.

There will be three unannounced titles revealed, one of which is an “ambitious open-world survival craft experience from Unifiq”. Elsewhere, PlaySide Studios will be showing off Dumb Ways to Die for PC and console. The biggest one for me, however, is a release date for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire.

Rockbeasts

Team17 will be showing off three titles from its stable of developers, too. This will include a release date for Rockbeasts, a game we recently previewed. After playing that one, Lyle said: “I had a great time with Rockbeasts, but time will tell if all the important choices you can make will lead my band to stardom or the bottom of a bottle (or maybe both). I’m excited to see how Prawns of Confusion’s success is shaped by my managerial influence, and whether you’re music mad or not you should have this game on your radar.”

NACON will be showing off two titles, including a look at Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, a game that “plunges players into a 2053 nightmare beneath the Pacific Ocean, investigating the sunken city of R’lyeh while battling Cthulhu’s maddening influence”. There will also be a new story and world trailer for Edge of Memories.

Kepler Interactive will be on hand as well, along with updates on Windblown, EmptyVessel showing off a debut gameplay trailer for DEFECT, and PlayStack will also be making an appearance.

“The north star for Galaxies is all about capturing a bit of that mid-noughties E3 magic” said Chris Thomas, Galaxies Founder. “I’m increasingly confident that this Autumn edition of Galaxies is going to achieve that thanks to a combination of jaw dropping surprises for brand new titles and some exciting announcements for highly anticipated games. Video game enjoyers are not going to want to miss this show.”

Experience Galaxies live on October 23rd at twitch.tv/galaxiesshow and https://www.youtube.com/@GalaxiesShow. 8pm GMT/ 9pm CEST / 12pm PST / 3pm EST.
