As part of the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct on April 2nd, we also got a reminder that Hollow Knight: Silksong is still planned for release in 2025.
Along with this tiny snippet of the game in action, Nintendo released four screenshots and a refreshed looked at the key art (seen at the top of this article), which we thought people might like to see.
First up, though, the sizzle reel which shows some gameplay of it (not much, but it’s something, right?):
Onto the screenshots, then. In truth there isn’t a huge amount new, but given how long fans have been waiting for Silksong, this might have to do for now.
Hollow Knight: Silksong has been near the top of the Steam most wishlisted charts for what feels like forever now. We know it’s coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and now Nintendo Switch 2, though of course: we don’t know when, aside from “2025”.
Play as Hornet, princess-protector of Hallownest, and adventure through a whole new kingdom ruled by silk and song! Captured and brought to this unfamiliar world, Hornet must battle foes and solve mysteries as she ascends on a deadly pilgrimage to the kingdom’s peak.
