2K has announced a special demo for PGA Tour 2K25 that is out now, showcasing MyPLAYER Customisation, training, and more. The ‘First Look‘ demo offers a taste of the following features, and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC:
- MyPLAYER Customization: Players can create up to three MyPLAYER builds to discover the perfect combination to fit their desired playstyle and progress their MyPLAYERs from 65 to 70 OVR. Customization elements include physical appearance, hair and body type, archetype, performance stats, and select gear and apparel;
- Local Match: The back nine at TPC Scottsdale and WM Phoenix Open are available to test MyPLAYER skills;
- Training: This area and lessons are fully accessible, providing the same experience featured in the full game;
- Quests: Featured for player onboarding and skill development.
What’s pretty cool about the PGA Tour 2K25 demo is that player progress will be transferable to the main game specific to the console the demo was played on. For those who pre-order the Deluxe and Legend Edition, it will be available a week early on February 21.
We were fortunate enough to play a preview of it recently and we said “I’m so excited to get stuck into the full release for review when it arrives later this month. PGA Tour 2K25 is looking excellent so far, and with only a few weeks left to go until release, there’s little more waiting left to do. The new swing mechanics offer plenty of control into every facet of each swing, and those final shots on the putting green feel so satisfying with the slightest adjustment to the putt being felt. It looks stunning, and MyPLAYER and MyCAREER aren’t drastically different, but those refinements into player progression are going to help you to really hone in to the type of golfer you want to be.”
