Strategy

Weak Point: Belly
Breakables: Foreleg x2, Tail Hair
Tail Sever: No
Helpful Hints:
Despite its canine-like appearance, this is not your best friend. In fact the Doshaguma is easily the most ferocious monster you’ve encountered so far. It hits hard and can move quickly, meaning you’ll constantly need to be on the move to avoid taking unnecessary damage. The safest place when fighting Doshaguma is behind it, although you’ll do less damage from here. But a full-frontal attack will likely result in you getting hit hard. Watch for its lunges, as they are quick and it can turn quickly, so be sure to be dodging a lot and only attack when you’re sure you have an opening. Wounding is key here to give you some wriggle room, so try and focus on one area, like the same foot each time, so that you can open up a wound and then attack it for a large amount of damage and maybe a takedown. Thankfully this monster slows a lot once it takes a beating, so it’s mainly about weathering the early storm until you’ve inflicted enough damage. If you find yourself against a pack of Doshaguma, use Dung Pods immediately so you are left with a sole monster, or you’re in for a tough time.
