Revenge of the Savage Planet

CHALLENGE: Under Pressure

LOCATION: Shrine of Pressure, Stellaris Prime

HOW TO ACCESS THE SHRINE: You’ll likely find the teleporter for this Shrine very early on but won’t be able to access it. It’s right beside the clearing where you capture the Hognork, hidden behind a green forcefield that you can’t go through. Return here when you reach Scrappi’s mountaintop device on Quasadron IX and unlock the final upgrade for EKO, which allows you to remote control the drone. EKO can pass through the green forcefield, and interface with the switch to deactivate it. Do that, and then enter the teleporter.

HOW TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE: A direct reference to Portal, this shrine sees you using weighted cubes to gold down pressure pads so you can open the doors and proceed. As with all of Scrappi’s shrines, it’s a three-room challenge.

Revenge of the Savage Planet

Room 1: The first room has a pressure plate in the centre and standing on it will open the door. Stepping off will close it, so you need to find a portable weight. If you head left you’ll see a wall of Fecal Beetle poop that you can whip through to reveal a handy cube. Grab it, drop it on the pressure plate, and continue on.

Room 2: In the second room you need to do a little more legwork. First grab a Bombegranate from the pod on the left, and go round the corner to see an explodable floor. Blow it up and drop down to see a Lava Goo dispenser, which you’ll need to extract from. Now return to the Bombegranate plant and use the Lava Goo to burn the webs behind it to get the first of the cubes you need. Place it on the pressure plate.

Now locate a raised walkway with some webbing below it. Head along it and you’ll see the second cube suspended in the web. Burn the web to release it and put it on the pressure plate with the first one.

Room 3: Ignore the pressure plate for now and head in and to the left to break open a wall of poop and reveal a second pressure plate. Standing on it will open a door on the opposite side of the main room, so remote control EKO and head through. Follow the purple arrows until you find an interface point, which will drop a cube into the main room. Now put that on the pressure plate you were on, and head through the door you just flew EKO through. Ignore the arrows and drop down to see another wall of poop, which you can break to reveal a magnetic chunk. Grab it with the Magnet Fork and return to the main room.

Revenge of the Savage Planet

Break the Magnetic Wall above the glowing image of the Magnet Fork to release a second cube, which you can now put with the other one to open the final door and grab your prize.

And now you know all there is to know about locating and completing the under Pressure challenge in the Shrine of Pressure, the third part of the Interstellar Enigma quest in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
