Helpful Hints:
By now you will have faced a Frenzied Monster or two, so you will understand the Frenzy mechanic. You really want to avoid contracting Frenzy, so when you get the icon (and likely a warning from the game) do your best to be as aggressive as you can in your attacks to Gore Magala to make it wear off – and enjoy the affinity bonus too. The Gore Magala’s attacks are powerful, combining ferocious swipes of its claws and tail with surprisingly fast lunges in all directions to catch you off guard. The safest place to be to inflict damage is at its feet or behind him. It doesn’t really have any rear attacks of note. So if the Gore Magala is distracted by someone else, take advantage by hitting its tail or legs. In your first battle with the Gore Magala, a Blangonga will join the fight, so be sure to hit it with a Dung Pod or two to make it leave so you can deal with it after you have finished the main event.
Weaknesses
Weapons: Slash weapons are very strong against the Head and Antenna. Blunt weapons deal great damage to the Head also.

Elements: Fire, Thunder, or Dragon-element weapons are the most effective.
