It’s the most wonderful time of the yeeeear. That’s right, forget Christmas, forget Halloween, forget your kids birthday, it’s Summer Showcase time and that means games. Lots of games.
While it’s not quite an “event” in the same way E3 used to be, the Summer Showcase season has evolved from a single stream to a veritable tasting platter of games, featuring everything you could possibly want. Alongside the tentpole showcases there are plenty of smaller showings that are worth your time, and it can quickly become overwhelming trying to decide what to watch, so I’ve tried to gather everything together in one place so you can easily jump to the streams you’re most relevant to, so let’s see what’s taking place this year!
When is Summer Game Fest 2026?
Ah, the big one. G3. Geoff-fest. Whatever you call it, this is the one most of us think of when we think of the summer showcase season. Full of world premieres, there’s surely going to be some big reveals here. Will we get some GTA6 news? I certainly hope so, but nevertheless I know there’ll be plenty here to get excited for.
