Frontier Developments has released details on another new update for Planet Coaster 2, which will add restaurants and more to the game.
The update will be dropping next week on April 22nd, and is the fourth major update for the title so far. In a new three minute video, you can see more of the pool colour customisation, returning rides, and a lot more.
Here’s the full details from the press release:
Another exciting update is heading to Planet Coaster 2 for all players on 22nd April!
We’re bringing restaurants to the game, which players will be able to build and customise to bring their park guests the perfect environment to relax and enjoy some culinary delights before heading out to enjoy more rides and slides.
Players will now be able to change the colour of their pool water, pool tiles, and water shape scenery items, for even more creative freedom.
The Scizzer flat ride returns! Rebuilt for Planet Coaster 2 and ready to customise, this classic from the original game is sure to put guests in a spin.
Two de-themed versions of existing Planet Coaster 2 coasters, Pearl Rides – Spinning Manic Mouse and Valais & Nidwalden – Inverted – Flying, are also available for players to put their stamp on.
More Career mode maps will be available in Sandbox mode, this time from Act 2, for players to kick-start their next creative project.
These additions will be arriving alongside a range of further changes and enhancements – take a look at the full changelog here: https://www.planetcoaster.com/updates/1-4-1.
Planet Coaster 2 was released in November 2024, and is sitting on a “mostly positive” rating on Steam so far. The third update was released last month (in March) and added “enhanced flume behaviours, career mode sandbox maps” as well as more coasters and a returning Western Theme.
Planet Coaster 2 is out now for PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 5.
