Bandai Namco has announced the third DLC for SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream is coming today, called “World Beyond III: Moonlit Night Fragment”.
We’ve got two new trailers, because there are two new characters (Sachi and Philia), who will be joining SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream in World Beyond III: Moonlit Night Fragment, as well as new costumes, weapons, and an additional scenario.
First up, let’s check out Sachi’s trailer.
The second trailer then, is for Philia:
In the additional scenario introduced in this DLC, Kirito, Asuna, Yuuki and others respond to a message seeking help. They first encounter Philia and later find Sachi collapsed in the snow who has lost her memories. Players will have to help the team restore Sachi’s memories by exploring Galaxia. Will they succeed?
In the anime, Sachi is one of the thousands of players trapped in the VR game Sword Art Online. She is armed with a long-reaching two-handed spear but mostly relies on her function of support to help and heal her party members. In contrast, Philia is a treasure hunter introduced exclusively in the video games. She is a fast-paced attacker who uses diverse skills, such as launching and striking enemies with a double jump and has the ability to boost her stats by consuming an equipped mod.
Bandai Namco adds that “the content of this DLC as well as the next one, World Beyond IV, releasing at a later date, are included in the Character Pass Vol. 2 which is available for purchase now”.
SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream is out now for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
