Atomfall take place mainly in the daytime, but it can get pretty dark at times. You’ll enter various underground bunkers and cellars. Even some buildings are void of light. Making sure you have a solid source of light is going to be vital throughout your time exploring a nuclear fallout in Northern England. With that in mind, we put together a guide to show you exactly how to find a torch in Atomfall. The early area in Slatten Dale is a treasure trove of important items like the shotgun and rifle, but among these is the torch.
Head left at the phone box
Once out of the Interchange, you’ll see a red phone box. Talk to the weirdo on the other end and head left down the hill. Once at the bottom, you’ll see two buildings. Explore the left one to find the shotgun. Once outside, head down the next hill to fight your first enemy. Carrying on walking to enter the water wheel area. There’s a building right behind it where you’ll find the rifle. The torch in Atomfall isn’t far away now. Inside this building to the left of the rifle is a door.
Head out the door and keep walking straight
Exit through the door and keep walking forward. It’s tempting to go and investigate everywhere else, however, go and grab the torch first. As you walk straight forward, a building with a rusty yellow sign hangs above the doorway. Go inside and then walk around the table in the middle towards the back-right corner of the room. On a table there, you’ll find the torch in Atomfall. We can’t make it any clearer that this item is so important to your exploration due to the dangers lurking in the shadows, but also how certain items can be easily missed.
