Women players of Valorant are able to sign up to the Beacon Game Changers Contenders Series 2 Qualifier, offering a pathway into women’s esports. The next generation of professional women’s talent for the FPS game Valorant will be able to show off their skills on a huge scale thanks to Game Changers. Not only does it offer a grassroots entry point, there’s an opportunity to earn a share of the £1000 prize pool, as well as a direct qualification slot into the Game Changers EMEA Contenders Series 2. This is a critical gateway to Riot Games’ elite esports leagues.
Game Changers is such an important part of the Valorant competitive ecosystem. It champions people from all backgrounds, ethnicity, and walks of life. This year it has been integrated in the global esports program, pushing excellence among female players. Beacon gives amateurs and semi-pros a chance to get their foot in the door of the esports scene. From there, they can fight there way to the professional Game Changers and mixed-gender leagues. From there, the winner earns a spot in the Challengers League, feeding into the top-tier Valorant Champions Tour.

How to get involved
Northern European teams are able to register for the Beacon Game Changers Contenders Series 2 Qualifier right here. There’s also an opportunity for those without a team but want to take part. Just head to this ‘Looking for Team Form‘ to be matched with other compatible players. Sign-ups close this Thursday (July 3) at 2pm BST. Then, the tournament itself kicks off at 1pm on Saturday July 5.
