Space Raccoon Game Studio has announced the release date for upcoming multiplayer title, The Mosquito Gang, and it’s May 20th.

Here’s the key features from the press release:
- Asymmetric gameplay: Friends must either cooperate or fight each other in asymmetric 1v4 matches in which a single human must protect themself from up to four hungry mosquitoes.
- Upgrade your gameplay: Support capitalism as a human by ordering improved weapons and consumable items that will give you an edge in battle, or gamble away blood as a mosquito to gain useful abilities that may come at great cost.
- Customize your character: Put a hat on that skeeter!
With more than 100K wishlists under its belt and following multiple successful closed playtests, The Mosquito Gang proves that humans are looking to take the fight to the mosquitoes — or becoming one themselves! Gang up on friends in this asymmetric 2-5-player multiplayer game where one human must protect their precious blood from up to four thirsty mosquitoes in three different scenarios. Play as the human and earn money by doing tasks to buy bigger and better weapons: from taking out the trash in one part of the narrative, to assisting a scientist with developing a super mosquito repellent in another.
Or you can jump into an insect’s brain and complete a mini quick time event that lets you suck to your heart’s (yes mosquitoes have hearts) content — all while avoiding extermination! Mosquito players can use their hard-won spoils to gamble for a variety of roguelite abilities, or they can put them towards their end goal: the blood bank. This is the last line of defense for mosquitoes before humanity can wipe them out, so you better make every drop count!
