Jackbox Games has unveiled the final new game coming to The Jackbox Party Pack 11. It’s called Cookie Haus, and we’ve got a new trailer showing it off.
The developer says that “Cookie Haus is a cozy drawing game where players use their phones to decorate cookies based on strange, delightful prompts. From “draw a silly lil guy” to “a cookie who’s seen some things,” players will transform randomized cookie shape outlines into sugary showstoppers using one of Jackbox’s most satisfying/enjoyable drawing tools to date”, adding “Once cookies are complete, bakers get to name their sweet creations before they face off in a vote to see whose dessert deserves the crown. Whether you’re creating chaos or culinary art, the group decides who takes the cookie cake.”
Check out the trailer, below:
“The core thing that sets Cookie Haus apart from our other drawing games is that the drawing interface is built from the ground up to feel very physical,” said Director Chase McClure. “There is something about placing icing and sprinkles on a cookie that makes it more familiar to someone who doesn’t consider themselves an ‘artist.’ But, it also gives this whole new challenge to the Drawfulveterans of the group.”
We recently spoke to Creative Director, Alina Constantin, about the previously announced new game (Hear Say), where we found out about how often the team has pitch meetings. Constantin said: “At Jackbox, individuals and small teams will try out new ideas alongside the many tasks of wrapping up a party pack, and we’ll playtest a lot of concepts amongst ourselves. Depending on the time of year and ideas we’re getting internally or externally, we’ll hold at least 3 or 4 pitching cycles to decide which games go into production. In a given year, anything from a dozen to thirty ideas get prototyped. With 5 games in each pack, yes, there are many that don’t make the initial cut. But there are just as many that come back retooled and improved in future cycles!”
The Jackbox Party Pack 11 is coming in Fall 2025.
