We may have known that Revenge of the Savage Planet was “coming in May” for a little while now, but now we have specifics: May 8th is the release date.
The sequel to the the first game is changing things up a bit, not least by going third-person (instead of first-person). We also now know that if you buy the Cosmic Hoarder Edition, you can play the game three days earlier, on May 5th.
Alex Hutchinson, Creative Director, Raccoon Logic said: “We can’t wait to see what misadventures players get into as they dive head first into Revenge of the Savage Planet when it launches on May 8th, with fresh tools and toys available for any and all eventualities, we think they’ll be more than equipped for their adventure in deep space! And, as an added bonus we’re excited to be partnering with Xbox again to bring Revenge of the Savage Planet to Xbox Game Pass players on day one! Ding Dong!”
