An artificial species created by an ancient civilization and imbued with the power of a monster called Arkveld. It cannot reproduce and does not require food, relying instead on Wyvern Milk for energy. In addition to absorbing and discharging energy the way other Guardians do, Guardian Arkveld can also absorb elemental energy through the chainblades on its wings and use it for sustenance.

And so your time to face Guardian Arkveld is finally here, and it certainly proves a tough match up. It’s a fast and large predator, with chainblades it will consistently slam on the ground to cause damage far out in front of him. He can also aim them so be careful if it is targeting you when it is using them. Like some other bulky monsters, sometimes the best place to be is actually right under Guardian Arveld’s feet, doing damage wherever you can, keeping an eye on any Wound opportunity. His rear is an even safer space, just be mindful he can turn around rapidly. Also, bear in mind that he can create white explosions similar to other Guardians, and if you see this windup, then get away from him to avoid damage. Its health bar is large, but with repeated damage it will go down. When it flares up and flashes red, it will do more Dragon damage, so also be careful of Dragonblight.
Weaknesses
Weapons: The Head, Tail, and Chainblades will take the most damage from all weapon types
Effects: The Chainblades are immune to effects, and all other areas can only mildly be affected by them.
